Privacy Notice: How information about you and your child will be used
The information you have provided will be used to meet the needs of your child’s physical, emotional and educational development. The information will be printed off and you will be required to read through the document and sign to confirm the information is correct.
All information collected will be deleted and printed information will be destroyed by fire, shredding or pulping within 2 years of your child’s last attendance at the club. There are circumstances when records must be kept for 5 years following the child’s 18th Birthday. If this is the case you will be informed in writing.
We will ask you to confirm that the information we hold on you and your child is correct September if your child continues to attend a setting.
Please advice us immediately should any of the details we hold change ie phone numbers, address, health.
At Firbobs, we take our privacy responsibilities seriously and as such we will only use your personal information to manage our responsibilities towards your child – all personal information will only be used in accordance with this goal.
From time to time, we will need to get in touch with you, either via email, letter or telephone, to update you about Firbobs Limited, any generic developments and to inform you of any issues relating to your child’s health and wellbeing.
We will manage this data in a professional, ethical and secure way to maintain the integrity of our records – so that we can run the setting accordingly. Personally Identifiable Information will not be shared with ANY third parties other than in matters relating to Safeguarding. Only authorised staff can access your secured personal information.
A copy of the information we hold on you and your child can be provided with 7 days of receiving a written request.
